One Stretch Before Bed That Hits All the Right Spots✨

🛏️ A Perfect Bedtime Stretch to Unwind

Last time, I shared some simple stretches you can do in bed.

Today, I want to show you one deeper, more effective stretch that’s still super easy to follow.

It’s called the Supine Spinal Twist — and trust me, it’s amazing for your back, hips, and even your belly.
If you’ve been sitting all day, this one will feel so satisfying.

✨ What are the benefits?

  • Loosens tight lower back muscles

  • Improves spinal alignment and flexibility

  • Helps correct pelvic imbalance

  • Stimulates abdominal organs → may help digestion

  • Relaxes the body and promotes better sleep

📌 How to do it in bed:

  1. Lie on your back and bend your knees.
Keep your back flat on the mattress and bring your knees up.

  2. Gently drop your knees to one side.
For example, let your knees fall to the left, and twist your upper body to the right.
Stretch your arms out in a T-shape or above your head for a deeper effect.

  3. Breathe and hold for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Deep breathing helps your body relax more.
(It’s totally okay if your knees don’t touch the bed — feel free to place a cushion underneath!)

  4. Repeat on the other side.

🕒 When should you do it?

  • Right after waking up – gently wakes up your stiff body

  • Before bed – melts away tension and helps you sleep better

  • After sitting for long hours – releases tension in the lower back and hips

If you do this regularly, your body will start to feel lighter and more balanced.
Even just this one stretch can make a big difference — so give it a try tonight. 😌

Next time, I’ll share a more advanced stretch too. Stay tuned!
