🍕 Craving Pizza on a Diet? Try This Rice Paper or Tortilla Pizza Recipe!

We’ve all had those days...
You’re trying to eat clean, but suddenly pizza is all you can think about.
Should I fight the urge or give in? 😭

Well, good news—you don’t have to choose.
You can totally enjoy pizza without messing up your progress!
Let me show you my go-to low-calorie pizza alternatives using rice paper or tortillas.
Super easy, super satisfying, and guilt-free 💛

🛒 Ingredients (for both versions)

  • 2 rice paper sheets OR 1 tortilla

  • Tomato sauce or ketchup

  • Your favorite toppings: chicken breast, onion, bell peppers, mushrooms, corn, etc.

  • Mozzarella cheese (go low-fat if you like!)

  • Optional: pepper, parsley flakes for garnish

🍚 [Version 1] Rice Paper Pizza

✔ Slightly wet 2 rice paper sheets and stack them together
✔ Place on a dry pan and lightly toast over medium heat
✔ Spread sauce, add toppings and cheese
✔ Cover with a lid and cook on low heat until cheese melts

✅ Super crispy texture
✅ About 70 kcal for 2 rice paper sheets—crazy light!

🌮 [Version 2] Tortilla Pizza

✔ Toast the tortilla on both sides in a dry pan until crisp
✔ Add sauce, toppings, and cheese
✔ Cover and cook on low until cheese melts

✅ More of a chewy, classic pizza crust feel
✅ About 150 kcal per tortilla (whole wheat is even better!)

🍴 My Honest Thoughts

  • Rice paper is great when I want something light and crispy

  • Tortilla is my pick when I’m a little hungrier

  • I eat these all the time post-workout or for a quick dinner

  • Bonus: they’re air fryer-friendly too!

🔄 Tips to Mix It Up

  • Don’t overdo the cheese—about 30g is enough for full flavor

  • Use whatever you’ve got in the fridge: mushrooms, tuna, tofu, chicken—they all work

  • Want a spicy kick? Add sriracha or sliced chili peppers

💬 Final Thoughts

Next time you're craving pizza, no need to fight it.
Try one of these easy swaps and enjoy without the guilt.
You don’t need to suffer to stay healthy—just be consistent, not perfect.
